It was a joy to see everyone together again at our Spring 2022 Studio Recital on Zoom! We had 14 performers, each presenting pieces they had diligently prepared over the course of the semester. The recital featured a diverse range of music, from Classical to contemporary, showcasing the students’ growth and versatility. With an audience of over 50, the event was filled with applause and encouragement. Congratulations to all the performers for their dedication and exceptional performances!
Our Holiday 2021 Studio Recital was a festive success! Held on Zoom, we had 18 performers showcasing a variety of Holiday classics and winter-themed pieces. The virtual event allowed family and friends from around the world to join, bringing our audience to over 40 attendees. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the season, and the students’ hard work and talents truly shone through in their performances. Special thanks to everyone who participated and supported our event. Thanks to all who were a part of our Halloween Recital last month on Zoom! Over 25 performers brought their talents, with parents, siblings, and friends joining from throughout the US and Canada!
Our Spring piano recital on Zoom was a success! We had 12 performers, and at least 32 people in attendance–so grateful to everyone for contributing their hard work and your talents 🙂

Had so much fun at the International Conductors’ Workshop and Competition in Atlanta this past weekend! I conducted excerpts from Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Symphonies no. 1, 5, and 9, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no. 5, and Mozart’s Magic Flute Overture, in workshops and a concert with the ICWC Orchestra. Last weekend I conducted five performances of Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Yeomen of the Guard (or, The Merryman and His Maid)” with the University of Michigan Gilbert and Sullivan Society. This was my fifth time Music Directing with UMGASS and I couldn’t be prouder of this production!

Feeling very fortunate to have had the opportunity to perform again at St. Cecilia Music Center in Grand Rapids last month! I performed Brahms’ Intermezzo in A Major op. 118, no. 2, on Ada Conservatory of Music’s Spring 2019 recital. Thanks again to Jordan Waller Opaski and Ada Conservatory for the opportunity!
