I’m a Finalist in The American Prize for solo piano! I submitted the video of my performance of “Rhapsody in Blue” from December 2015 on a concert presented by the Birmingham Musicale.

American Music Concert with Birmingham Musicale
Thrilled to have been invited by the Birmingham Musicale to perform on their fall concert! The concert, held at The Congregational Church of Birmingham in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, was entitled “The Sweet Sound of American Music” and featured the work of American composers. I brought selections by Copland, Shapero, and Gershwin.
Guest Recital with Claire DiVizio at North Shore Congregation Israel, Chicago
This weekend Claire DiVizio and I returned to North Shore Congregation Israel in Glencoe, Illinois, for a recital sponsored by the Robert & Marilyn Sternberg Cultural Enrichment Fund. Our program was entitled “A Century of Song,” celebrating the great Jewish composers and lyricists of the 20th Century.

The American Piano with Kol Rina at Temple Beth Zion in Buffalo
Honored to have the opportunity to perform again at Temple Beth Zion, the congregation where I was raised, became bar mitzvah in 1999, and was confirmed in 2002. I was a guest performer on a concert featuring Kol Rina, the JCC of Greater Buffalo‘s new community choir, and over 100 people were in attendance! Photos by Cantor Penny Myers:
