Had so much fun at the International Conductors’ Workshop and Competition in Atlanta this past weekend! I conducted excerpts from Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Symphonies no. 1, 5, and 9, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no. 5, and Mozart’s Magic Flute Overture, in workshops and a concert with the ICWC Orchestra. “Dido and Aeneas” with Chicago Summer Opera
Very proud to have finished a great run of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas with Chicago Summer Opera! The Chicago Summer Opera was established in 2013 to help young artists fine tune their unique skills. Its mission is to provide affordable training to developing singers while providing accessible and high quality performances to the community.

“HMS Pinafore (or, The Lass That Loved a Sailor)” with University of Michigan Gilbert and Sullivan Society
Just finished a great production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s “HMS Pinafore (or, The Lass That Loved a Sailor)” with the University of Michigan Gilbert and Sullivan Society!
From a review by Wendy Wright, A2View.com, April 9, 2016 –
…the reason most people see a Gilbert and Sullivan production is for the music and music director Ezra Donner does not disappoint. Under his direction the large orchestra is nuanced and does not overpower the singers and the chorus sounds terrific.

American Music Concert with Birmingham Musicale
Thrilled to have been invited by the Birmingham Musicale to perform on their fall concert! The concert, held at The Congregational Church of Birmingham in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, was entitled “The Sweet Sound of American Music” and featured the work of American composers. I brought selections by Copland, Shapero, and Gershwin.
Carnegie Hall Debut

Last weekend was the premiere of Mountain Suite for String Orchestra by Chamber Orchestra of New York in Carnegie Hall.
Thanks to Salvatore di Vittorio and the Chamber Orchestra of New York for making this happen and to my family and friends who came to support me!
